Legend has it that in feudal Japan a small dynasty was attacked upon by an evil priestess named Zoa. Zoa jealously towards her cousin Mingyumi who is the queen over the kingdom and married the man she too loved. Yet after being cast outside of the palace walls Zoa became evil and sworn she will get her revenge on her cousin and gain back the man she loves. After several days outside the kingdom alone she hears about the Eye of Zhyerri, as stone that contains most deadly creatures sealed in by one great Shaman who eventually disappeared. Searching around Zoa weary journey came to a successful end as she found the Eye of Zhyerri and returned to the kingdom before casting the spell that manages to unlock the spirits letting them attack the people, yet Zoa wasn’t aware that the stone was cursed and soon taken the entire palace and transported them to a island somewhere far, far from Japan. It believed that where the shaman disappeared to the stone shall follow to a closer location. Zoa was furious that her plan backfired yet she ended up loosing her lover after her cousin was killed. It was there that Zoa tired to make a deal with the spirits since she set them free and they allow her complete control over the island and its trapped victims. For centuries there on the victims never aged within the island barriers and becoming desperate for someone from the outside try and save them. Then that day came. A ship entered the island’s waters sailed by one pirate. The boat came upon the shores and the stranger unaware of what the island really withholds. Only the treasure was the thing he desires and headed off on foot into the jungle to come across what inhabits the island. Surprising the pirate tried several times to get the stranded people off yet failed due to the evil curse that island. No one will escape its wrath... ever
Year 1780
Port Royal: Jamaica
5 years later…
The busy village was alive in the sunshine that gleams off its aqua waters. Boats were off loading and loading various livestock and other exported items to the people of Port Royal. Amongst them a mix of the middle classes villagers and the rich upper class that populate the higher outcrops of the hill side. Though the settlement is quite prone to pirates that sail the seas around that area. Some of them live in the village itself, two of them being a family. Samuel who was fifteen years old and been blind ever since he was born, his mother Julia been taking good care of him since her husband had disappeared at sea about 5 years ago. It was now she owns the ship he once captain of The Sea’s Deceit. The crew had also migrated to the land yet plans of going after him wasn’t consider at all. These days Julia and Samuel walk about the streets and try and blend into the people hoping they won’t be hung because of them being pirates. “Mother are we going to ever go back on the boat again?” Samuel asks as they walked along the street. Julia, a red head with untamed, unkempt hair and her green eyes carefully watched out for her son’s safety. Samuel relied on his mother’s eyes as his aid for walking was a wooden staff sculpted bit like an oriental dragon. “Mother did you hear me?” he said as he was guided along through the busy crowd. “Samuel, I don’t if I could go back on there. After your father disappeared and the mutiny we can’t go and be pirates” she said as they entered the busy market place. “I missed being a pirate” Samuel said as he pulled over to a store full of fruits and vegetables. “Samuel please be quiet dear” his mother said patting his head.
“I’ll buy some oranges, apples, bananas were there anything you wanted Sam?” his mother asks. “No mother” he replied as he stood by her side like a child. Amongst the crowed a group of upper crust snobs were swooning about “I say Nathan, you should consider doing something risky. Take upon our offered bet” Juan said. Nathan Sheffield was one wealthy man on the island, his friends often do bets see that will walk away the better man. “Hmmm Juan I don’t know how I could possible do that” Nathan replied. “Simple you find yourself a pirate crew and a ship, they do it all for you. If you pay them something worth their interest” Juan said. Nathan looked at Juan and the other rouse of men that he goes out with “Pirates is the last thing I wish to be involved with” Nathan said. As they by passing Julia and Sam, Nathan paused and watched the pair walk by “I might change my mind” he said and went up to Julia and Samuel. “Excuse me can I interest you in a very wealthy venture” Nathan said. Julia shoved by him “Look snob, whatever is your planning I’m not interested at all” she said as she pulled Samuel along behind her. Nathan turned to his pack who were shrugging, he went after Julia and Sam through the crowd “Look lady, you might like this cause you get a lot of money out of it” he said as he jumped in front of her again. Julia stopped looked at the blonde man “Money how much? This better be for real” she hissed. Samuel’s empty blue eyes stared straight ahead his black short hair messy like his mothers. “$50,000 if you sail to the legendary island of Rakkitu. Return with the Eye of Zhyerri. I’ll pay you that amount. You can live a much better life here on the mainland” Nathan said with a smirk. “Wait Rakkitu was a myth where believed to be treasure on that island. I’m not going there” Julia said and shoved Nathan aside. “Mother that would be wonderful, we need the money” Sam said as he stood by Nathan his hand brushing against his jacket.
“I love you clothes sir” Sam said stroking until Nathan pulled his hand off “Think about it, your son could be wearing such fine entire. You could be wearing some beautiful dresses. You could have a better house” Nathan said as he approached Julia. “Look here, me and my son being doing just fine” she said as she walked back over to Sam grabbing his hand. “Is your son blind?” Nathan said showing some concern towards the boy. “He is, now would you please leave us alone” Julia said. “You know I could have you turn into the army. You are pirates I know of you, your husband disappeared didn’t he?” Nathan said with a smirk. Julia eyes were full of rage yet Sam stepped between her and Nathan “Mother, please you don’t want you get into a fight” he said as he stood innocent between the pair.
“Look who are you anyways?” Julia said pulled Samuel close to her side “I am Nathan Sheffield, and you are?” he said “I’m Julia Black, this is son Samuel” she said looking at him. “Ah Daniel Black was your husband name if I’m right?” Nathan said “How do you know of him?” Sam asks. “Word spreads quickly around here. I’m sure you want to know what happened to him.” Nathan added. “As far as I know he could be anywhere. He could be even… dead” Julia said.
“You should go out and search for him. That way you can come back with the gemstone and all the treasures the island beholds” Nathan said. Julia thought for a moment “Well do we have a deal? It will give you a chance to go on a trip” Nathan suggested waiting for her to take the bait. “Mr Sheffield I’ll consider this offer on one condition. That you will leave me and my son alone and I don’t wish to be executed for my past mistakes” Julia said. “That will be fine deal. I suggest you set out today don’t wish to loose time on your journey” Nathan said. “I will go when I’m ready ok” Julia replied and walks away from Samuel in tow.

Your bottles almost empty. You know this can't go on. Because of you, my mind is always racing. The needles breaking your skin, the scar is sinking in, and now your trip begins and it's all over for you...
I do not understand one thing, Why does Nathan approach a poor woman and a blind boy to go to an island where mostly ppl don't return from, i mean then it would be unlinkely that Julia and Samual would return with the stone.
And 50,000 $ is a very very very high price, that's what a wealthy man in 1780 would earn in his entire life! Figure a very very very big house in those days would cost 5000 $ so 50,000 $ is incredible! Even 1000$ would be a lot.
